North Union extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Ohio - Red this week by beating Buckeye Valley, 35-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
River Valley moved up to 274 from 314 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Ridgedale 68-7.
Buckeye Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Barons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Caleb Green has thrown for 1014 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Brad Krueger has 20 catches for 361 yards. Brad Edmonds leads the league in rushing with 516 yards.
A big matchup in Mid-Ohio - Red this week will be when Highland takes on River Valley. The Fighting Scots are in third place, while Jason Lynch's team is in second place.
The Vikings took down the Rockets 68-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
