Softball Recap: Nova Wins Going Away Against Hollywood Hills

While Nova put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Hollywood Hills. The Titans were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Spartans. Considering the Titans have won three games by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dasia Davis and Sadie Kraus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Davis tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Kraus pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Davis scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Kraus went 1-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. What's more, Davis posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Aniya Williams was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. Jada Corbin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Nova always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .567 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Nova's record is now 3-4. As for Hollywood Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Nova will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hollywood Hills: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
