Basketball Recap: The Daniel Academy Skates Past Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy with Ease

The Daniel Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They really took it to the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-20 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 28 point advantage.

Noah Maldinado continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Noah Lee, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

The Daniel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive games.
