Seward waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Adams Central Patriots. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Seward let Brycen Burt and Kyle Riley run wild. Burt scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Riley scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Seward's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Adams Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seward will take on rival York at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Adams Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
