If Corsicana wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Longview, they should've done a better job of containing Jayden Tyeskie. The Lobos took down the Tigers 47-29 on Thursday with plenty of help from Tyeskie, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 43.5% three-point shooting accuracy.

Another player making a difference was Zachariah Biggs, who posted two points and six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Despite the loss, Corsicana still got an impressive performance from Jacob Glasco, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Longview's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Corsicana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Longview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-53 victory against Highland Park on the 5th. As for Corsicana, they have also already played their next contest, a 47-40 loss against Whitehouse on the 5th.
