The Aragon Dons got the win against the Mercy Bears  on Tuesday by a conclusive  12-1.
 Makayla Hafoka looked comfortable as she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.

 On the hitting side,  Destiny Garcia was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Mukherjee, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Aragon  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are 3-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Aragon has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Mercy is  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Aragon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  14-3  win against Carlmont on the 13th. As for Mercy, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  a  14-0  victory against Greenfield on the 15th.
