After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Thursday, the Mishawaka HomeSchool W Wildcats came back down to earth. The game between Mishawaka HomeSchool W and Forest Lake Academy wasn't particularly close, with Mishawaka HomeSchool W falling 67-49.
Loss or not, Mishawaka HomeSchool W got some senior leadership from Colten Dobrodt and Toby Wallenfang. Dobrodt dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Wallenfang. scored 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wallenfang has scored all season. Zackary Elmerick was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Mishawaka HomeSchool W has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Forest Lake Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy the next time they take the court. Forest Lake Academy will head out to face Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mishawaka HomeSchool W will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
