The Fredonia Yellowjackets lost against the Bluestem Lions back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fredonia was beaten by Bluestem 49-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fredonia has scored all season.
Fredonia's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Campbell Odell, who scored six points along with six rebounds, and Zoey Sims who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The contest was Sims' fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Fredonia now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bluestem, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredonia will be home for the holidays to greet West Elk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bluestem will be home for the holidays to greet Central on Friday. Central is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
