On Friday South Winneshiek take on Central Springs at 7:00 PM. South Winneshiek are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
If South Winneshiek were riding high off their 38-16 takedown of Nashua-Plainfield two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. South Winneshiek had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Friday as the squad lost 39-40 to St. Ansgar.
Meanwhile, Central Springs might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They took down Nashua-Plainfield 20-0.
South Winneshiek took the contest and then some with a 49-6 win the last time the two teams met over Central Springs. Will South Winneshiek repeat their success, or does Central Springs have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
