The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions waltzed into Friday's matchup with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down West Greene 41-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greensburg Central Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Greensburg Central Catholic was led to victory by Samir Crosby and Tyree Turner. Crosby gained 180 total yards and three touchdowns, while Turner threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. Crosby was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 60 yards.
Despite the loss, West Greene still got an impressive performance from Billy Whitlatch, who rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns.
Greensburg Central Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for West Greene, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 8-3.
Greensburg Central Catholic will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against South Side at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
