The Miller Place Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Wyandanch 62-47. That's another feather in the cap for Miller Place, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Ava Zicchinelli, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Orenzo, who scored nine points.
Miller Place is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Wyandanch, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
