Easton is 2-8 against Queen Anne's County since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Easton is taking a road trip to challenge Queen Anne's County at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Easton comes in on three and Queen Anne's County on five.
Easton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Caroline, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Easton put the hurt on North Caroline with a sharp 12-3 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Dustin Blue made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He has become a key player for Easton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
In other batting news, Dylan Cassell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Easton is undefeated when Cassell posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Garrett Fink also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Easton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
The home team had come away the winner the last three times Queen Anne's County and Kent Island had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Queen Anne's County never let Kent Island get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. The game was the first time the Lions have beaten the Buccaneers on their field since March 29, 2023.
Noah Palmer was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Palmer was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Clough, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Nathan Procopio, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
Easton's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2. As for Queen Anne's County, their record now sits at 5-0.
Easton might still be hurting after the 14-5 defeat they got from Queen Anne's County in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Easton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
