Oakdale put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Rockwood Tigers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rhylan Hicks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Hadassah Cooney was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Landry Smith also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Oakdale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .719. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Oakdale pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Rockwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
