Oakdale put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Rockwood Tigers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Rhylan Hicks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Hadassah Cooney was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
