Osceola took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Turtle Lake Lakers by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Chieftains in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won seven in a row.

Osceola not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Turtle Lake between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Jaci Irlbeck paced Osceola's offense, picking up five kills. Irlbeck got some help from Addison Symons and her 19 assists. Finally, Kaylee Hurlburt kept Osceola's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Osceola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Grantsburg on the 26th. As for Turtle Lake, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Prescott on the 26th.
