The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hampton Christian, who took down 309th ranked Hampton Christian, 47-22.
Flint Hill's Connor Chess rumbled for the longest rushing play in VISFA Freelance this season in his game against Pope John Paul the Great last week. Chess scampered for 73 yards on the play and finished with 134 on the day as his team bested the Wolves.
Stephen Iverson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Warriors lost to Broadwater Academy. Iverson tallied seven receptions for 113 yards. Daniel Ford helped Hampton Christian's passing attack out by catching three balls for 29 yards.
Stevie Peterson put up the best numbers through the air as Flint Hill beat Pope John Paul the Great. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Peterson's favorite target this week was Cameron Vaughn, who caught two passes for 66 yards.
Bryan Black was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 28 carries, he ran for 228 yards as Trinity Episcopal lost to the Vikings. Teammate Abraham Ferrell- Logan added to the ground attack by rushing for 131 yards.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Saints feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ish Seisay has thrown for 659 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Sam Gallahan has 17 catches for 271 yards. Darius Manora leads the league in rushing with 571 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Stephen's & St. Agnes takes on Paul VI. As it stands, the Saints are in first, while the Panthers are in third.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Potomac School, 26-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
