The Calvary Christian Warriors will take on the Lake Brantley Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Last Tuesday, Calvary Christian got the win against Clearwater Central Catholic by a conclusive 12-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.
Katie Kapusta spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Auriana Turner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Catharine Conway was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Lake Brantley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.
Both Calvary Christian and Lake Brantley just can't seem to miss. The Warriors have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Lake Brantley struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Calvary Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Brantley in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
