Despite the defeat, Wadley saw an underclassman step up: Jaquez Wilkes scored four points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Wilkes is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
Faith Christian pushed their record up to 9-13 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wadley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Faith Christian will head out on the road to challenge Winterboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Winterboro is ranked 313th, while Faith Christian is ranked 334th). As for Wadley, they will be playing at home against Donoho at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Donoho is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
