Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fox Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jada Jennings, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Jennings hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Maya Kryshtalowych was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Fox Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Creek will take on Westminster Schools of Augusta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westminster Schools of Augusta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fox Creek in their respective states (Westminster Schools of Augusta is ranked 118th in Georgia, while Fox Creek is ranked 239th in South Carolina). As for Batesburg-Leesville, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Pelion at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Pelion is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
