The Newfane Panthers can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Medina 80-44 on the road. The win was nothing new for Newfane as they're now sitting on 15 straight.
Ben Dickinson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Capen Mac, who scored 14 points.
Medina's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Preston Woodworth, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Moss, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Newfane pushed their record up to 17-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points per game. As for Medina, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Newfane will be playing in front of their home fans against Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Newfane is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67 points per game this season. As for Medina, they will head out on the road to square off against Albion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Medina is facing Albion at the right time seeing as Albion is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
