Jack Murray was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Connor Jordan and Jack Ponte did most of the damage at the plate: Jordan got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Ponte went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Ponte is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Matt McDowell was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Brookfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive games.
