Basketball Recap: Linn Skates Past Fayette with Ease

There's no place like home for Linn, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 65-37 win over the Fayette Falcons. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Linn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kiana Hostetler out in front who posted 12 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. That's the most assists Hostetler has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Paige Senevey, who scored eight points along with eight boards and three steals.

Linn smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Linn's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Fayette, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Linn has already played their next game (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fayette has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Salisbury.
