Softball Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Find Success

First Baptist Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Warner Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. First Baptist Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 26-2 margin over Warner Christian Academy on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Crusaders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Caitlyn Davis was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She also tossed three walks, marking her first of the season. She was even better at the plate, scoring four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ashlynn Clements was incredible, going 4-for-5 with seven RBI and three runs. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Serenity Arneaud, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

First Baptist Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .825. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
