What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had over her last six matches. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kyah Stundal, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kali Larsen, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Williston's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Turtle Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Turtle Mountain's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Braves have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game.
