The Hemlock Huskies can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Ithaca 65-29 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Hemlock as they're now sitting on six straight.
Hemlock's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Borsenik, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Lauren Borsenik was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Hemlock's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Ithaca, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hemlock won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Carrollton has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. As for Ithaca, they will head out on the road to take on the Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Valley Lutheran has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
