Bennington enjoyed a cozy 48-30 win over the Cardinals. Given Bennington's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Cardinals are ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Eli Lawson, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. Kian Wilson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Bennington is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Sedgwick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
