The Crespi Celts will head out on the road to take on the Notre Dame (SO) Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Crespi strolled past Loyola with points to spare, taking the game 54-39. Given Crespi's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Loyola is ranked 135th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Peyton White, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Malakai Perrantes, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame (SO) put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 63-51 victory over Crean Lutheran.
The victory makes it two in a row for Crespi and bumps their season record up to 20-5. As for Notre Dame (SO), their victory bumped their record up to 23-0.
Crespi came up short against Notre Dame (SO) in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 57-49. Thankfully for Crespi, Caleb Foster (who scored 22 points along with five assists and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
