Boston College High and Brockton played the most contested game in Catholic this week, with Boston College High eventually emerging with a 6-0 victory.
St. John's Prep took down Malden Catholic 55-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Xaverian Brothers's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jake Farrell threw for 59 and 1 touchdown and Aj King had 42 yards receiving. On the ground Shayne Kaminski chipped in 61 yards. Kenny Kern helped Xaverian Brothers' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 11 yards.
Kaminski was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 61 yards as the Hawks beat Catholic Memorial School. Kern also contributed to the rushing game with 62 yards on the ground.
The Knights are currently in fourth, while the Eagles are in second.
The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,987 from 3,431. The improvement was the result of a 6-0 victory over the Boxers last week.
