Fort Bend Willowridge moved up to 584 from 724 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region III District 22. A 50-13 win over Spring Woods helped the Eagles improve their standing.
Fort Bend Marshall extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ridge Point, 51-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Buffalos.
Tomball's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Drew Reynolds has thrown for 409 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Mason Dillard has three catches for 97 yards. Xavier Powell leads the league in rushing with 473 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Fort Bend Marshall takes on Stratford. James Williams' team has allowed 48 points this season, while the Spartans have given up 82. The Buffalos allowed 7 points last week as they beat Ridge Point.
Tomball took down Northbrook 52-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
