The Milford Eagles will square off against the Springboro Panthers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Milford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Friday, Milford made easy work of Anderson and carried off a 14-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meghan McClellan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Milford got a massive performance out of Jesslyn Roberts, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Roberts has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Lanie McCoy, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Milford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Springboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Wayne by a score of 9-6 on Friday.
The team relied heavily on Kylene Seibel, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Trinity Wagner, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Milford hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Springboro struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Milford got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Springboro by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
