The Springdale Dynamos''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Jeannette 49-12. Springdale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.
Despite the loss, Springdale still got an impressive performance from Chase Weihrauch, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Among those leading the charge was Payton Molter, who threw for 293 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes. Noah Sanders did his part to keep the secondary busy, rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also picking up 89 receiving yards.
Springdale's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.3 points per game. As for Jeannette, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Springdale will be staying on the road on October 28th to face off against Riverview at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th. As for Jeannette, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Clairton at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Clairton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
