Crescent City hasn't had much luck against Peniel Baptist Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Crescent City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.
Crescent City barely beat First Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 14-5 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Caylee Goff made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Allmon, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was April Morales, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Peniel Baptist Academy's offense. They came up short against Palatka on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Peniel Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Crescent City, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crescent City has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Peniel Baptist Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crescent City might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Peniel Baptist Academy in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Will the Raiders have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
