Softball Recap: Northpoint Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Northpoint Christian entered their tilt with St. George on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Gryphons 18-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Hannah Bostain was incredible, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Makenlee Bryant was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Northpoint Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 16 consecutive matches.

Northpoint Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for St. George's, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Northpoint Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 loss against University School of Jackson on the 5th. As for St. George's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Trinity Christian Academy on the 2nd.
