Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hastings). They put the hurt on the South St. Paul Packers with a sharp 16-6 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hastings' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for South St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will face off against North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South St. Paul, they will take on Tartan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Packers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
