They came out on top against Kearney Catholic by a score of 46-39. Given Adams Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Stars are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Kearney Catholic still got an impressive performance from Callie Squiers, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Adams Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Kearney Catholic, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
