 In other batting news, Penobscot Valley let  Julia Young and  Emma Potter loose on the outfield. Young  scored a  run while going 1-for-3, while  Potter  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Penobscot Valley pushed their record up to 10-1 with that  victory, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Dexter, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
