The Cupertino Pioneers entered their tilt with the Westmont Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Cupertino took down Westmont 46-32 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cupertino also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2016.
Cupertino can attribute much of their success to Soham Nighojkar, who scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Nighojkar has scored at least 25% of Cupertino's points. Justin Yu was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Cupertino's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Westmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Cupertino won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Burlingame at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Westmont, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Teresa on Wednesday.
