The Forks Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Ocosta 75-37 on the road. That 75-37 margin sets a new team best for Forks this season.
Despite the defeat, Ocosta had strong showings from Alexia Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Anna Davis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was Bradley's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Forks pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Ocosta, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Forks will be playing at home against Chief Leschi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chief Leschi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Forks is ranked 50th). As for Ocosta, they will head out on the road to face off against Taholah at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
