Volleyball Recap: Hueytown Wins Going Away Against Parker

Hueytown's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Parker Thundering Herd 3-0. The Golden Gophers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Hueytown never let Parker on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-22.

With the victory, Hueytown broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11. As for Parker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Hueytown will be playing at home against Paul W. Bryant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parker, they will take on Jackson-Olin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
