The Timberline Wolves were the 59-52 winner over the Blackfoot Broncos when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Timberline fell 41-34 to Blackfoot on Friday.
Blackfoot can attribute much of their success to Addison Tanner, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Tanner has scored at least 25% of Blackfoot's points. Another player making a difference was Kendylan Anderson, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Timberline now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Blackfoot, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
Timberline's road trip will continue as they head out to face Highland at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Highland is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Blackfoot will take on Middleton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Middleton is ranked 64th, while Blackfoot is ranked 48th).
