It was a good run, but Sunnyside unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. If they were looking for revenge after losing 11-6 to the Apaches when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

MICHEL MUNIZ made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Nogales, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1.

Looking ahead, Sunnyside will be playing in front of their home fans against Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nogales, they are taking a road trip to face off against Canyon del Oro at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon del Oro will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Nogales surely won't give up without a fight.
