The Woodhaven Warriors are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Northville Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Northville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodhaven, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Woodhaven beat Roosevelt 58-53. Given Woodhaven's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Roosevelt is ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Northville had to settle for a 42-40 loss against Canton on Thursday.
Woodhaven pushed their record up to 4-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Northville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
