Morrisania barely beat Eagle Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Eagles on Friday. 18 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Morrisania is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Eagle Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Morrisania will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Bronx Prep at 4:00 p.m. on May 8. As for Eagle Academy, they will face off against Law Government & Justice at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
