The Upper Merion Area Vikings lost against the Neshaminy Skins back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Upper Merion Area fell just short of Neshaminy by a score of 54-51. Upper Merion Area has not had much luck with Neshaminy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Nate Townsend was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with nine rebounds and six assists for Neshaminy. Another player making a difference was Max Currie, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Upper Merion Area now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Neshaminy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Upper Merion Area will head out on the road to face off against Pottstown at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Neshaminy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Harry S. Truman is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
