The Trinity Prep Crusaders lost against the Napa Christian Knights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Trinity Prep was beaten by Napa Christian 88-38. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Prep in their matchups with Napa Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Napa Christian found their leader in underclassman Breydan Worth, who dropped a triple-double on 34 points, 16 rebounds, and 13 assists. Worth is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Obinna (Obi) Ekezie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Trinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Napa Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Rio Lindo Adventist the next time they take the court. Trinity Prep will head out to face Rio Lindo Adventist at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Napa Christian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
