The Arickaree Bison put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 61-22 victory over Gilpin County on the road. Considering Arickaree has won three games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Arickaree got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Yarin Quniteros out in front who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. DILLON NOLETUBBY was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Gilpin County struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Arickaree racked up 18 assists.
Arickaree's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Gilpin County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Arickaree won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fleming at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Fleming focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday.
