Twin Peaks Charter Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ascent Classical Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chance Mueller, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Angel Ortega, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Ascent Classical Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
