The Starkville Academy Volunteers won the last time they faced the Magnolia Heights Chiefs, and things went their way on Friday too. Starkville Academy claimed a resounding 55-15 win over Magnolia Heights on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Starkville Academy.
Starkville Academy found their leader in underclassman Raylee Jones, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Starkville Academy pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Magnolia Heights, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Starkville Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lamar at 3:00 p.m. on December 19th. Magnolia Heights will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Space Coast at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th.
