Adding to the longest winning streak in Mid-Michigan (8 Man) this week, Owendale-Gagetown beat Akron-Fairgrove 30-16,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Merritt Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on Michigan School for the Deaf.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Vikings' Kyle Aldrich and Dakota Biddle have proven to be a lethal combination. Aldrich has thrown for 869 yards this season, while Biddle, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 10 catches for 300 yards. Owendale-Gagetown's Quinn Smith leads the league in rushing yards with 1,047.
An important game coming up in Mid-Michigan (8 Man) this week will be when Akron-Fairgrove takes on the Mighty Mustangs. As it stands, Carl Aldrich's team is in second, while Merritt Academy is in third.
