The Union Farmers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Dayton 59-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Union also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.
Dayton lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Malcolm Jackson, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aden Pecana, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Union's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Middletown South at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Middletown South's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Dayton, they will head out on the road to take on Koinonia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dayton is coming into the match with four straight losses on the road, meaning Koinonia Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
