Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Llano

Llano barely beat Ingram Moore the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Warriors on Friday. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Will Morris and George Gallucci did most of the damage at the plate: Morris went 2-for-4 with three runs, while Gallucci went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Morris has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Cash Lynch, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

The win (which was Llano's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Ingram Moore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.
